So Very Thankful, Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 2!

So Very Thankful by Jen Shults, stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions

Hi everyone! Today’s post is full of thankfulness. 🙂 I LOVE making thank you cards. They are by far my most used cards and the cards most requested by friends and family. This month’s Taylored Expressions release is FULL of very useful stamps, stencils and dies to make quick work of thank you cards. All of these goodies will be available Thursday at 7 am PST. 🙂

My first card uses one of two new additions to the Bubble Greetings line – Bubble Greetings Thankful. This stamp is SO CUTE and makes for a very quick CAS card. I stamped the image on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and colored with Copics. I then die cut the image with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and matted the image with Watermelon cardstock, Frayed Edge Stacklets cut Chocolate Truffle and mounted it all on a Sweet Potato Pie cardbase. 🙂

My second card is a set of thank you cards that I made for my mom. These were really quick to put together. I love using stencils for quick backgrounds. I don’t do it often enough but I adore the way it looks and how fast it is to make a perfectly coordinated background.

I started this card with a Sugar Cube cardbase and then stenciled Toffee, Sweet Potato Pie, Pineapple and Pumpkin ink on another piece of Sugar Cube through the Mosaic Leaves stencil.

I then die cut a circle using Stitched Circle Stacklets from vellum. The sentiment is three cuts of Thanks script – once from gold foil cardstock and twice from Sugar Cube all glued together for depth and attached to the Thanks Script Backer cut from Sugar Cube. This was attached to the vellum with foam tape. The “so much” sentiment was stamped on Sugar Cube with Oreo from the So Many Thanks stamp set and hand trimmed.

I made four total of this card – two using gold foil cardstock and two using gold glitter cardstock (because I ran out of the foil cardstock).
