Somewhere Over The Rainbow Kit
Taylored Expressions has some exciting new today! They are releasing a new card kit, the Somewhere Over The Rainbow kit. This kit is AWESOME! There is no subscription required for this kit, but there are limited quantities so don’t wait!
The kit contains:
Layering Rainbow Stencils
Rainbow die
2 Cloud dies
2 Coordinating clear stamp sets
6 Envelopes
6 Envelope Seals
1 Multipurpose zipper storage pouch
I have made 4 cards with the kit so far and am going to share two today. First up is a card using the layering stencils.
I started off by cutting a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and stenciling the rainbow with Guava, Pineapple, Lime Zest and Blue Raspberry. Stamped the heart in Plum Punch and used my MISTI to position the dots to stamp in Oreo. I stamped the sentiment in Earl Grey. Next, I trimmed the cardstock down and attached it to a Confetti Cake cardbase with a tiny bit of Playful Patterns Black and White underneath. To finish up I added the clouds with foam tape.

My second card uses the dies from the kit paired with a few other Taylored Expressions supplies:
To start this card I die cut the rainbow from Blue Raspberry, Lime Zest, Pineapple, and Fruit Punch. After die cutting I kept all of the pieces and set them aside. To create the background I used the Set the Scene Cloud stencils with Here Comes the Sun stencil and Confetti Cake ink. The clouds are cut from TE’s Wool Designer Felt in Sugar Coated. It has a wonderful iridescent shimmer in person! After making this card, I had quite a few rainbow pieces left over for cards that I will be sharing a bit later.
