Hi! Today the Spellbinders Stylish Ovals release is live! There are some super fun products in this release and I have two projects to share with you using products from the collection.
The first project I have to share with you uses the new Stitched Florals Flip Frame Etched Dies. These dies are so pretty and so versitile. I chose to die cut the leaves in a soft green and then die cut all of the flowers in white cardstock. After die cutting the flowers I used two tones of OLO markers to blend the middles of each flower. For the stitching I used white embroydery floss (I split the floss into 3 strands) to give a soft white on white effect with a little bit of color showing through the centers. To adhere the flowers I used Nuvo liquid glue and then I added coordinating colors of Tiny Diamonds to the centers. The sentiment is from Effortless Sentiments (retired) Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die set.

The second card I have to share with you uses a beautiful new Stylish Oval Floral Bird Glimmer Plate that coordinates with the other Stylish Oval products. I used the plate alone to create a quick and simple foiled card.
I started by foiling the Glimmer Plate with gold foil and the coloring the image with OLO markers. After coloring I did cut with an A2 stacklet. The sentiment is from the same retired sentiment set I used above. I added a few tiny diamonds, matted in Sea Salt cardstock and attached to a Dried Fig base an I was done. The gold foil really makes the coloring pop!
