Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peek: Graphic Greetings Graduate and Lavender Bouquet
Hey guys! It’s time for day two of the April Taylored Expressions release and today I’m getting all geared up for Graduation and Mother’s Day.
To start off I’m using a new Graphic Greetings Graduate Stamp. I LOVE these Graphic Greetings stamps. They are some of my favorites in Taylor’s store as they are so easy to use for so many different types of cards. Today I’m keeping it clean and simple for this card set that also features a few new Taylored Dies that you are sure to love. 🙂
My card set starts out with a Choice Snow White cardbase matted with black cardstock and a bit of Simple Stories Snap Color Vibe polka dot cardstock. I added a couple of die cuts using the new and AWESOME Ric-Rac Borders. Over that I’ve layered the GG Graduate stamp die cut with the new and always AWESOME Tag Stacklets 1 (I’ve been waiting for these dies FOREVER!). To finish everything off I added bow out of black ribbon and the Grad Cap die.

Paper: Simple Stories Color Vibe, Black Cardstock, Choice Snow White
Dies: Tag Stacklets 1, Grad Cap, Ric Rac Borders
Accessories: black ribbon, Jumbo eyelets, Best Glue Ever, Foam Tape, white gel pen
For my second card I made a clean and simple Mother’s Day card using Lavender Bouquet. This card went together so so fast and I really like how it turned out. Now I must confess that of all the colors I have in my Copic stash purple is definitely the most lacking so when I went to color these lovely little flowers I discovered that I have slim pickings for violet markers so be gentle on my coloring. I stamped the flowers on Choice Snow White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The ribbon I used at the bottom is a bit of left over ribbon. I stamped the sentiment on more Choice Snow White and I die cut it using Banner Stacklets 1 then wrapped the end with twine thread and added a tiny bow. 🙂 I layered it all with foam tape and I was done. 🙂
