Happy Monday everyone! It’s the start of April Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks! We have a bunch of fun new stamps and dies for you this week. Today we are starting off with some adorable new baby stamps and dies!
The first set I’m sneak peeking is Mama & Me. This stamp set features adorable baby animals and their mamas. 🙂 For my card I picked the little fish and his mom. I started my card by cutting a mask for my background using the Frame In Frame Cutting Plate and then sponged the waves in the background using Mowed Lawn Distress Ink at the bottom, Stormy Skies next and Tumbled Glass near the top, letting the ink fade as I went up. I used the Medium Scallop border die as the mask to create the waves. I then added the seaweed with Copic Markers. I then stamped the fish on the water background. After all that was done I embossed the Frame In Frame Cutting Plate into the inked background using the Embossing Mats. I then stamped the fish again on Sugar Cube cardstock and colored them with Copics. I adhered them to the water background popping the Mama fish up on foam dots. I added a bit of shimmer to the bubbles and then coated them with Glossy Accents. I also added Glossy Accents to the eyes of the fish. 🙂
My second set of cards features the new Welcome Little One die. I LOVE these big word dies for quick and easy card making. I decided to go ahead and make a boy version and a girl version as we have two new babies on the way in our family and we don’t know boy or girl yet for either. 🙂
These cards also features the brand new Double The Joy Matched Kit which has adorable baby themed patterned paper along with perfectly matched cardstock. For a little accent to my cards I used the new Little Bits Onesie die along with Little Bits Confetti – Baby. The sequins are from the Double the Joy Sequin pack. These cards were super quick to put together and will definitely be handy with all the new babies on the way in our family. 🙂

Hi Jen, I love, love , love those little fishes! It’s very clever – and effective how you have created the waves. All the colouring is fab! The baby cards are adorable too – I really like those large sentiment dies as they make a great focal point on a card without having to do a lot else to it 🙂
