Taylored Expressions April Studio Challenge
It’s time for the April Studio Challenge at Taylored Expressions and this month our challenge is a great one!!
The theme for April is:
Mix & Match! TE stamp sets are designed with plenty of images and sentiments so they are “self-contained” for lots of creativity, but sometimes it’s fun to mix and match several different sets for even more possibilities.
Your challenge is to create a project using three or more TE stamp sets.
Isn’t that fun! I love these kind of challenges though I have to admit it took me a while to figure out what I was going to do but once I had decided it went together to easily!
The three sets I started with are Forever in Bloom, Oops a Daisy and Make it Amazing. These stamp sets coordinate so well and the sentiments on them are killer. I used all the large solid flower images and my Distress Markers and a bit of water in a mister bottle to create the flowers. I didn’t use the mister all that much, just on the leaves. The ink blended together really well just on it’s own with a bit. I used the coordinated dies to cut out the flowers and leaves; Twiggy Branch, Oops a Daisy Dies, and Hydrangea Bloom Dies. The embossed panel is die cut using Label Stacklets 3. I used quite a bit of foam tape to separate my layers. I added a bit of green ribbon, twine thread and a few roses to finish it off.
I left off a sentiment for right now because I’m not sure if I’m going to use this for Mother’s Day for my mom or for a friend’s birthday – it’s s tough call, lol!!
Here’s a peek at the stamp sets I used:

That’s it for me today. Be sure to check out how the rest of the AMAZING Baker’s Dozen handled this challenge!
