Haunted House Votive Holder by Jen Shults

Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks Day 3!

Jen-TagAlongHalloween-Wed4

Hi everyone! Welcome to day three of Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks! We have some adorable new Halloween stuff for you today!

My first project features a new Tag-a-long Halloween stamp set and Build a Tag 5 die set along with the new Matched Build a Scene Halloween.

This card went together so fast and was so fun to make. We happen to have an all black cat so it seems now a days whenever I have a cat together they have to be all black. 🙂 To make the potion bottle extra blingy I layered Stardust Stickles with Glossy Accents.

My second project for today features a new Sack It Haunted House die. I created a little LED votive holder using the Sack It To You base and the Sack It Haunted House. To do this I die cut the windows out of the base layer and lined the inside of the sack with Clear Plastic Sheeting colored with gold Copic Marker. **When you color with Copics on the plastic sheets be sure to give them about 5 minutes to dry.

I added a pile of skulls outside the house using the Little Bits Halloween Confetti die and the Spooky Fence Border die.

Coming out of the chimney is a sparkly little ghost cut out of iridescent glitter paper and backed with cardstock.

And finally a shot to show you how it looks all lit up. The little LED votive lit up the house perfectly. (It was tough to get a shot that showed how cool it looked in really low light but you get the idea.)
