Taylored Expressions | For Him
Hi! I hope everyone is doing well! I appologize for being late with this post, I had some massive technical difficulties yesterday and my blog wouldn’t let me post but it’s all fixed today.
I have a trio of cards to share with you using some new AMAZING products from Taylored Expressions featuring some outdoorsy stencils and sentiments for the guys in your life.
The new Great Outdoors Layering Stencils are a play on the Create in Quads stencils but is a smaller image that pairs with some new FABULOUS TE Stacklets.
I created 3 different cards (I accidentally tore the 4th image from the stencil or I would have made 4 cards) using a common color scheme between them of Sweet Potato Pie, Peapod, Poblano Pepper and Gumball. I used the inks to stencil the images on Toffee cardstock and then used the cardstock and inks together for the background panels. I stamped the Denim background stamp, Gingham Check background and Wood Plank background stamps tone on tone with the colors above (excluding Gumball).
For the focal image I stenciled the Great Outdoors Layering Stencil with the colors listed above and then die cut with the coordinating Stacklets. After die cutting I matted them in Toffee with the coordinating Stackets and the coordinating Ridged Stacklet. To finish up added a tree from Trough the Woods stamp set (Versafine Clair Nocturne on Toffee) and die cut with the coordinating dies, added a bit of twine and a sentiment from Mix & Match For Him.

My second card uses many of the same supplies but in a different way. I decided to try making a masculine shaker card using the Trough the Woods stamps. I started by stenciling some clouds with the Cloud Stencil Strips and then stamped over the clouds with the Through the Woods stamps in various TE greens. For the trees on the outside I stamped the trees on Avocado cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturn and die cut to add more trees but with a different look. I added twine and a sentiment from Mix & Match For Him and I really like how it came out!
