So far I’ve made 4 cards using this kit and have ideas for more! I started by making a pair of cards using the background stamp and a couple of different sentiments from the kit.
These were very quick to whip up. I started by stamping the background on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink. I stamped the hats with the clear fill stamps, as well as the noses and cheeks. The falling snow was added using the coordinating stencil. I created a simple layout by trimming the side of the background panel and adding a layer of Watermelon cardstock and a layer of black and white diagonal paper from Playful Patterns 6×6 Black and White Paper Pack.
My second card uses just a single frosty and a quick background. This card would be easy to mass produce using various faces from the Frosty Kit.
I started by stamping the background stamp on Gumball cardstock with Sea Salt ink. Next I positioned the stencil and used white embossing paste to create the snowflakes. I set this aside to dry and began working on Frosty. I stamped the background again on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink and die cut one of the heads from the background. I stamped the hat and nose and added a little Copic shadow. I stamped the body on Sugar Cube with Oreo ink, die cut and colored the body.
To create the vellum panel I stamped the snow flakes from Frosty’s body stamp set on the Vellum with Versamark and heat embossed in white. I die cut a Stitched Rectangle Frame and fit the vellum behind the frame. The sentiment is stamped on Oreo and heat embossed in white. I added a little bit of striped pattern paper and that was it!
For my third card I stamped and colored three individual Frosties and created a simple ink blended background.
For the background I used a blender brush to blend Cookie Monster and Blue Raspberry ink around the edges and added some hills using Copic Markers. I added snow by blending Sugar Cube ink through the stencil and heat embossing with diamond glitter embossing powder. I positioned the frosties and glued them down with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on Oreo and embossed.
This kit has so many possibilities and is so fun for making quick holiday cards! Be sure to stop by the Taylored Expressions blog for more ideas on how to use this kit!
