Happy Tuesday and Happy New Year! Today Taylored Expressions is launching their Valentine’s themed goodies and oh boy are there are bunch of amazing new products AND some new fun freebies!
I have four projects to share with you today. This first card pairs up a previous kit stamp set with a bunch of new goodies.
On this card I used the adorable Occasional Critters (previously released in a kit, now available ala cart), Hang on Hearts, With Love (and coordinating dies) and the adorable new Mini Envelope Die.
My second card uses the new Folk Love dies and Fold Hearts Stamp & Stencil combo. I accidentally paired this up with a retired brick stencil – you could get this same look by applying ink to the inside of the Brick Embossing Folder and embossing your cardstock, and bonus you would get a 3D look as well!
To get all of the super detailed blending on the hear, I used the new Detail Blender Brushes. This brushes are AMAZING. They offered so much control in the tiny spaces, including gradients, with no masking. For the LOVE letters I inked Sugar Cube cardstock with Passion Fruit ink and die cut the letters so it matched the inked heart.
My third card pairs up the adorable new Love Letters stamp and die combo with the Medium Envelope and new Lots of Love 3D embossing folder. I inked the edges of a piece of Confetti Cake cardstock with Tropical Punch ink and then embossed – I ended up embossing the wrong side up with the folder and I really like the debossed look of this folder. It turned out to be a happy accident!
