March Release At a Glance

  • We have sneak peeks to share Monday through Wednesday.  All of the new products will be available for purchase on Thursday, March 1st at 8 am PST. You’ll find it all in the Fresh out of the Oven Department at the Taylored Expressions Store.

Are you ready for release day?!? Here’s one last project to get the mojo going for all these gorgeous new stamp sets! Today I used Hope A La Carte. This is one of 4 new A La Carte images being released this month. HOPE was designed by Taylor and has two other coordinating A La Cartes. This stamp comes pre-mounted on cling foam and pre-trimmed so it’s ready to use immediately.

To start my card I stamped Hope in Tuxedo Black ink on Choice Snow White cardstock. I colored it with Copics and added a bit of Crackle Accents to the flower O. I layered up some My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up paper to create the background and added a bit of hand dyed seam binding along the right side. To finish everything off I distressed everything with a Tonic distress tool and sponged it with Vintage Photo ink. Lastly I layered an EK flower punch with a Prima fabric flower and fairytale roses as well as a vintage safety pin tied with a bit of scrap seam binding. (The safety pin is from Michael’s… I don’t remember the brand and the packaging is long gone.)
