I am so excited to announce that Taylor has asked me to stay on as a permanent member of the Baker’s Dozen! I am so happy and honored to be able to join these lovely ladies!!! With that let’s get on to previews!!

Today we are introducing Labels of Love II! To follow up to the popular Labels of Love, we have a new set of labels/frames and the sentiments cover almost every holiday throughout the year.  This will be a great set for any stamper to add to their stamping arsenal. This will also make a great Christmas gift for your stamping friends!  (set of 27 stamps – full size set) Coordinates with Labels of Love and Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3. I really LOVE this stamp set. It’s so versatile and I love any excuse to coordinate stamps with a die set. This is really the perfect way to add a sentiment to any card.

All Taylored Expressions stamps are made of premium red rubber mounted on EZ  Mount and are precut so they are ready to use the minute you get them. Taylored Expressions sets come on a full color plastic panel perfect for storage in a mini binder box.

For my card I started with a kraft cardstock base and the Holiday Wonder Project Pantry kit. Layered on top of the Project Pantry papers are a Spellbinders Oval sponged with brown ink and a dimensional Christmas tree made with the Trim the Tree Taylored Die. To make the tree I started with a base of whole tree and then used the individual parts of the tree layered in two layers. On the top layer I sponged the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and curled the bottom portion of the pieces up just a bit to give the tree more dimension. Below that I stamped Merry Christmas in Memento Lady Bug ink and then border in Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and cut them out with the Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio 3. I thread ribbon from the Project Pantry kit through the tag and layered it onto the card and I was done!

We are also introducing a new die today… the Mini Leaves Taylored Dies are a wonderful set of four gorgeous embossed and die cut leaves that are just the PERFECT accent for any fall project or flower. I LOVE these dies and I’ll be using them later in the week. 🙂

Taylored Expressions, The Giving Tree

The TE Giving Tree is a program designed to raise funds for a different charity each quarter.  For the months of November, December and January, Taylored Expressions will donate $5 from the sale of each Labels of Love II stamp set to the Union Rescue Mission.

In part the URM’s Mission Statement reads:

We embrace people experiencing homelessness with the compassion of Christ – giving hope and healing for a changed life – helping them find their way home.

By Embrace we mean to welcome, to encircle with our arms.
By Compassion we mean to love and touch others, as Christ loved us.
By Hope we mean providing encouragement and resources for a new start.
By Healing we mean being restored in body, mind, and spirit through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
By Changed Life we mean going in a new direction and to realize our God-given purpose.
By Home we mean having the opportunity to earn a living, secure housing, and be a healthy family again.

The Union Rescue Mission (URM) was founded in 1891 and is one of the largest missions of its kind in America–bringing help and hope to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Downtown Los Angeles. Taylor’s husband, Jon, served at the Union Rescue Mission when they lived in California and saw first hand the impact it had on the lives of the homeless.  Visit the Union Rescue Mission website at http://urm.org/

Well that’s it for me today! Please hop around and see what other wonderful creations the Baker’s Dozenhas created for today!
