Taylored Expressions October 2012 Sneak Peeks

It’s sneak peek time at Taylored Expressions! We have so many new fun stamp sets for you to preview. We have inspiration to share Tuesday through Friday this week.  All of the new products will be available for purchase on Thursday, October 4th at 8 am PST. You’ll find it all in the Fresh out of the Oven Department at the Taylored Expressions Store.

 

You are just going to LOVE everything we have! Today I’m previewing two stamp sets and a brand new die.

Starting off we have the gorgeous new Rejoice which is part of the Lasting Impressions series of stamps. Rejoice is a full sized set that comes with 13 different Christmas and holiday sentiments. I combined this with the AWESOME new Label Stacklets 1 dies. I LOVE this set, they are going to be perfect for so many uses. I also used the new Nativity border die. This die is amazing with so many intricate and beautiful details AND it cuts like a dream. To finish the card off I used a bit of burlap twine thread. The designer paper is from Authentiques Festive Collection. I foresee a set of these cards in my future. 🙂 I just didn’t quite get them all finished.

Next up is a favorite of mine from this month’s release… the Poinsettia Bouquet. I just love all of the Petite Bouquet collection and this one is no different. These gorgeous flowers have so much detail and come with perfect little sentiments to whip up perfect elegant holiday cards. Poinsettia Bouquet comes with the flower stamp and 6 sentiments, illustrated by Nancy McKinney.

For my sample I stamped by stamping the flowers on Choice Watercolor paper and heat embossing it with Black Ranger Embossing powder. I colored the image with Distress Markers and a waterbrush. Next I cut out the image and rounded the bottom corners, I used this month’s Hand Made Holidays Project Pantry Kit for the card base and designer paper. To finish it off I added a Tiny Tag stamped with a sentiment from the Many Minis – Holiday sentiment collection also being released this month (it’s AMAZING!!!!).
