It’s day three of previews over at Taylored Expressions and I’m so so so stoked about the stamp set we are previewing today. It’s so cute with great sentiments… and REALLY fun to stamp with. 🙂
Oops a Daisy is a full sized set that comes with 20 images/sentiments and has a gorgeous matching die set that can be purchased separately. Oops a Daisy is illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes line at Taylored Expressions and is made of the highest quality red rubber and EZ Mount Cling Foam and is predie cut and ready to use!
For my sample today I started with Choice Snow White cardstock and inked the flowers with Scattered Straw, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain Distress Markers. On one flower I spritzed the inked stamp with water lightly to give it a bit of texture. After stamping the flowers I die cut them with the matching dies and then did the same with the leaves. Using another piece of Choice Buttercream die cut with Taylor’s Frame It Up 1 die I stamped the flower stems and a couple more leaves using Memento Bamboo Leaves. I stamped the sementiment on Choice Buttercream using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then sponged all the edges of the cardstock and designer papers with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The designer papers are from Cosmo Crickets Baby Jane paper line and are sanded a bit on the edges to give them a bit of a distressed feel. To finish the card I layered everything together propping the flowers on foam tape to create dimmension, die cut the sentiment with the Fly Your Flag 2 die and added a bit of May Arts twine thread and a button.
