WooHoo! It’s release day! I hope you’ve enjoyed everything you’ve seen so far! I have one last project for you using Make It Amazing by Nancy McKinney.

I’ve been trying to get started with Project Life and I have to say the daily photos idea is a bit more than I can do but I have been taking more and trying to document things as they come at me. Well as I was going through my photos the other day I noticed I had a lot of random silly pictures of Evey and I thought I would through together a bit of a hybrid scrapbook page using the Project Life format but have the page be a bit more traditional in scope so here’s what I came up with (Please excuse the pictures… these are hard to photograph).

I used the horizontal 4×6″ page layout as my starting place and then went about laying out my pictures first. Once I had them situated I knew I wanted to make 2 decorative 4×6 panels and then I need two smaller 2×4 panels to fill the space my 4×4 pictures didn’t take up. All of the papers and ribbon I used are from the London Market Project Pantry kit.

This is the top left panel. This one incorporated a 4×4 photo so I kept it simple. I went ahead and cut a 4×6 panel out of blue, adhered the photo and then layered up the extra space with London Market paper and the frame and sentiment from Make It Amazing that was die cut using the Frame I Up 3 die and sponged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

This is the top right panel. For this panel I knew I wanted to do a little journaling so I used the Make It Amazing set to put together a homemade journaling card. I started with a white Strathmore ATC and rounded two of the corners. I stamped on a butterfly from Make It Amazing and then doodled a border and lines for journaling. The rest of the panel uses two other butterflies from Make It Amazing as well as the super cute new Fancy Buckles dies. The large butterfly is die cut using the Elegant Butterflies die. All of the elements have been sponged with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink and the tiny staples are from Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

This is the lower left panel of the layout. I used many of the stamps from the Make It Amazing set on this one as well as the smaller Elegant Butterflies die and a second Fancy Buckle. The ribbon and ric-rac as well as the paper come from the London Market Project Pantry kit.

And that’s the last one! I have to say I am so so happy with how this came out and I’m so excited about how fast this went together. I’ve never scrapbooked traditionally before because I’ve been intimidated by the time involved but this went so fast and was so so easy!
