Today it’s time to show of two more stamp sets from the July release and they are FANTASTIC! I know we are doing things a bit differently this month but you are going to LOVE it because that means you get to get your hands on the new stamps and dies FASTER! Everything is available for purchase RIGHT NOW! How awesome is that?!? All of the new Taylored Expressions products are now available in the Fresh Out of the Oven Department.

Today I’m using the brand new Moka Dylan illustrated by Nancy McKinney for the Whimsical Wishes line and Adventure Land illustrated by Doug Applegate for the Apple Doodle Ink stamp line.

For my Moka Dylan card I started by stamping Dylan on Choice Snow White cardstock and coloring him with Copic Markers. Next I die cut him with a Spellbinders Square die and drew a border around the inside of the die. For the background I used Echo Parks Paradise Beach designer paper. To embellish the card I added two clouds cut from the Cloud Duo dies and then embossed with the awesome new Waves and Bubbles Impression Plate. I stacked those on foam tape to give them a bit of dimmension. The sentiment is inculded in the Moka Dylan set and to embellish that I die cut a circle and then embossed it with the Waves and Bubbles Impression Plate and topped it with a red button.

Here’s a detail shot of Dylan:

For my second card I used Adventure Land. This is THE CUTEST stamp set. I started this card by stamping the carousel on Choice Snow White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloring it with Copic Markers. I then die cut the image with a Spellbinders circle and matted it with a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle. For the card background I cut some red cardstock and embossed it with the Stars Impression Plate. I used Echo Park’s Sweet Day designer paper. To embellish the card I added some twine behind the image panel and a couple of buttons around the sentiment as well a bit of distressing and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Oh! I almost forgot. To add a bit of shine dimension to the carousel I used a bit of Crackle Accents on the cars (I thought I had grabbed Glossy Accents but discovered when it dried that I had the wrong thing!).

The layout for this card comes from Deconstructed Sketch No. 58.

I used the following Taylored Dies and Impression Plates on my cards today:

The rest of the Baker’s Dozen has TONS of fun stuff for you today so be sure to hop around and say hi!
