Taylored Expressions | Treat Yo’ Self!
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a wonderful day! Today I have two fun birthday cards to share with you using some supplies that may be new to you or you may already have if you grabbed these when they were available previously from Taylored Expressions. First up is a card using Treat Yo Self which is one of my all time favorite TE sentiment sets. It’s just fun! I paired this up with the Party Time background stamp and new Birthday Balloons Stencil & Die Combo. I love these cute little stencil and die combos – I will be using these balloons A LOT.
To make the background I created a color block panel with Peaches & Cream, Guava, Pineapple and Spearmint cardstock on a piece of copy paper. I stamped the combined bacgkround with the Party Time background stamp using Versamark and then I embossed with clear embossing powder. I love this look! I die the the stamped panel with new Rounded Rectangle Stacklets – LOVE THESE!!
I kept it simple from there using the Treat Yo’ Self sentiment and a couple of the Building Blocks Milestones sentiments for the rest. A little loose twine for the balloon string and done!

My second card also uses some new/old goodies! The number dies featured on this card have been around for a while but have new life with some amazing backer dies that allow you to get a fantastic layered look.
My youngest nephew is turning 13 soon so this card is for him! I used the Birthday Balloons Stencil & Die Combo again with Spearming, Candy Corn and Pineapple along with Cookie Monster in the background.
