TBD Challenge 4: An Affair to Remember

It’s Burtonesque Dolls time!
OMGosh, how fun was the hop with Busy Beauties last week?!? We had a BLAST and are SUPER THRILLED that Busy Beauties is sponsoring our challenge this week!

We just can’t get enough of their Corpse Bride inspired images, and decided to make The Corpse Bride (a fave in the Dollhouse) this week’s challenge theme!

Challenge #4: An Affair To Remember

Think wedding (or divorce – eek), bridezillas, grooms with cold feet, etc., or it could just be the creepy cool color scheme from the movie – ANYTHING inspired by The Corpse Bride will do.

For my card I used Emily the Bride and Victor the groom from Busy Beauties. I digitally altered them just a bit to link their arms together in photoshop. It was very simple to do. If I have time I’ll try to make a tutorial this week to show how. I colored them with Copics and then cut them out with the Nesties Classic Frame die. I added some sparkle to the frame using Sakura Stardust gel pen and some rhinestones to the corners.

I finished it up with a few flowers and leaves and a MS corner punch. I was going for a fancy old wedding portrait look… I hope I achieved it. I fought with it a bit because I printed my image larger than I wanted too… next time I’ll measure my die first, lol.

These images were sooo fun to work with! I hope you’ll check them out!

And please join us in welcoming our newest Doll, the lovely & talented Eulanda!

Now we want to see your creepy creations! You have until Monday at 10:00 p.m. PST to link your cards, ATCs, scrap layouts, etc. below. And to further lure you into our web (bwahahaha) we have a prize that is just To Die For: one randomly selected participants will win their choice of 5 (FIVE) Images from the Busy Beauties Boutique! That is just bone-chillingly awesome, isn’t it?!?

Be sure to hop around and see what the other design team members have been up to this week!
