Happy Tuesday! I hope you are doing well. I’m a little under the weather today, struggling with allergies with all the weather craziness! Today I have two project to share with you. It’s time for Taylored Expressions annual calendar release and this year we have some wonderful new goodies! For my project I paired up the new Birthday Flowers Calendar Cards with the 2025 Square Tear Off Calendar. These new calendar cards are so fun and I enjoyed coloring all of them up. I created a cardstock backing using the Square Tear Off Calendar Stacklets and Petite Scallop Square Stacklets. This stands up in a wood display stand (sadly I gave mine away in a gift and didn’t have one for pictures!). Below you can see all of the flowers colored and ready to switch out with each month.

My second project goes in a completely different direction from calendars and uses a fun product that was shared at the 2023 Stamp Joy, I’m a Hugger Unicorn. I had a lot of fun creating this card and went all in on everything rainbow. I started by creating the background panel by inking up a sheet of Sugar Cube with mini blender brushes and a bunch of ink colors (listed below). After letting the ink dry and applying a powder tool I stamped Rainbows All Around Background with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. Next I created a shaker box using vellum as the base and a frame from Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate. The filler is made with Bits & Pieces – Clay Heart, Bits & Pieces – Sparkly Stars and Bits & Pieces – Rainbow Sprinkles.
For the unicorn I started by die cutting the body and hair from Sugar Cube. I used Olo markers to color the hair in a rainbow pattern. I cut the ears and hooves from Bubblegum cardstock and the horn from gold glitter cardstock. To finish I added an envelope die cut from iridescent glitter card stock using the Medium Envelope die and a sentiment from All Together Occasions 2. The circle is one of the backers from the Coin Companions die set. The envelope would make a perfect money holder for a birthday present!
