Hi everyone! Today we are sneak peeking Taylored Expressions April mini release of some GORGEOUS mother’s day and floral stamps and dies. (Releasing TOMORROW, April 14!!) My first card is not a Mother’s Day card but all you would have to do is swap the sentiment and it could be!

My card went together really pretty quickly. I stamped Beautiful Blossoms stamp set (all of the images) on watercolor cardstock 4 times using my MISTI that way I had lots to choose from to make my layout and I have some leftover for another card! I then watercolor them with TE’s liquid watercolors and a waterbrush. I stamped on the back of the watercolor paper because it’s smooth and picks up the details better than the bumpy side. I die cut the flowers with the coordinating dies and set them aside to make the background. I started the background with a piece of Salt Water Taffy cardstock and inked the edges with Confetti Cake ink. I then stamped the Just Vine background in Peapod ink over the top. I die cut this with the largest Petite Scalloped Rectangle stacklet. Next, I just arranged the flowers, something I not particularly confident with but I’m practicing so hopefully I’ll get better. I added a few white NUVO Crystal drops and I was done.

My second card is a clean and simple birthday card that’s easily mailed. I started by masking off a section of an A2 Sugar Cube piece of cardstock. I brushed on Plum Punch and Blue Raspberry ink and splattered with a bit of watered down Sugar Cube ink and a waterbrush. I removed the mask and used my Score Pal to emboss lines on either side of the inked area. I stamped Happy Birthday from Penned Pretty in the center and embossed it. (Make sure all of the ink is dry or heat set and cooled before embossing!) I stamped Building Blocks Her on Plum Punch and heat embossed in white. I used three of the blocks under happy birthday and added a few Bits & Pieces White Rhinestones to add some sparkle. The card was mounted on an A2 Blue Raspberry cardbase and it was done!

My last card today uses Big Blooms Fuschia. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stamp and you’ll be seeing it again soon because I’ve been coloring a lot lately! YAY!!
![Hello There by Jen Shults handmade card](https://i0.wp.com/deconstructingjen.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Jen-BigBloomsFuschia-April4.jpg?resize=600%2C582&ssl=1)
So, I’ve been in a “color with anything other than Copics” mood lately and so I picked up my TE liquid watercolors (LOVE) to paint these gorgeous fuschia flowers. I stayed pretty traditional with the colors on these but will share some other combos later because you don’t just have to go with bold pink and purple!

I stamped the flowers on watercolor cardstock (on the smooth side) with Versamark and heat embossed with TE’s black embossing powder. I used TE’s liquid watercolors to paint (Lollipop, Guava, Jelly Donut, Plum Punch, Peapod, Lime Zest, Cookie Monster [background]).

For the background I mixed water and Cookie Monster on my glass media mat and smooshed watercolor cardstock into it. I dried and repeated until I like what I had. I die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and added a mat of Plum Punch. To finish up I added a few (okay a lot) of NUVO Crystal Drops in Snow White.
