TE April Sneak Peeks: Dreams Can Come True

Hi everyone! We are starting up sneak peeks for the April Taylored Expressions release and we have so much fun stuff to share!!!

My first project this week is a bookmark using Build a Bookmark. This fantastic die set included all you need to put together a fabulous and quick bookmark. I combined Build a Bookmark with the Mark Your Spot die to add an extra layer.  I LOVE the way this turned out and can’t wait to use it… most likely today when I am sitting in jury duty. 🙂

The sentiment I used on the bookmark is from Plot Twist – a fantastic new multi use sentiment set with some fantastic sayings!

I made a quick tassel out of burlap twine by wrapping the twine around my hand multiple times. When I slid the twine off my hand I kept it in the circle shape and looped a length of twine through the top to make the string to attach the tassel to the bookmark. Next I wrapped the top of the tassel with more twine, first tying a know to secure everything. I secured the end of this with a bit of glue. To finish I cut the ends to an even length and attach the tassel to the bookmark.
