Today is the beginning of Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks. We will be sharing projects all this week until Thursday when products go on sale at 9 am CST at the TE Store! I have two project for you today and I hope you enjoy both of them

This first card is a very quick and mass producible card I made using Foliage Background and Handlettered Sentiments. I stamped Foliage Background on Peapod cardstock using Peapod and Sweet Basil in in the mini cubes so I could swipe both on for variation. Next I added dots with a white gel pen for contrast and as an accent.

From the center of this I die cut a circle using Stitched Banner Stacklets and created a border with Stitched Frame Stacklets 2 die cut from Sweet Basil cardstock. I mounted this on Pineapple cardstock cardbase with foam tape. The sentiment is from Handlettered Sentiments and stamped on Sugar Cube with Sweet Basil ink. It’s die cut with the coordinating die and popped up on foam tape in the center. To finish I added a twine bow.
Supplies:

My second card features Handlettered Sentiments again along with another new background, Shiplap Background and some gorgeous new flower dies called Layer It – Rustic Floral. I started the card with a Sea Salt cardbase. From there I stamped the Shiplap Background on Sugar Cube using Sea Salt ink. I die cut an oval from Sea Salt using Stitched Oval Stacklets. I cut a variety of flowers with Layer It – Rustic Florals from Lolipop, Strawberry Milkshake, Jelly Donut, Plum Punch, Candy Corn, Pineapple, and Peapod. I arranged them around the oval and added a sentiment from Handlettered Sentiments stamped in Versamark and embossed in white on Earl Grey cardstock. I added a few Snow Flurries sequins and the card was done.

Love, love, love the Hand-lettered Sentiments and Die set. Perfect for so many uses!! Not sure if the shiplap background is new – but that’s a must have too!!?
Gorgeous cards! I especially love the first one (green is my favorite color!)
