Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a wonderful day. It’s been a bit snowy here, though I am so thankful it’s not as much as some places. We have our first snow day for school so I am enjoying an unexpected day off work. Fingers crossed we stay within our allowed six snow days and don’t end up having to go extra time at the end of the school year.
Today at Taylored Expressions the Beautifully Blended release has launched! TE is releasing a new set of blender brushes with new handle colors to coordinate with some of the newer ink colors and the much awaited Pigment Pouncers!

Along with the new blending tools there are a couple new stencil palettes available and I have two projects to share with you using those.

First up is the Hooray Layering Palette Stencil. I used Watermelon, Cotton Candy, Pineapple and Dill Pickle to stencil the image. After stenciling I stamped the starburst from the Birthday Bash stamp set in the centers of the O’s, R and A using tone on tone stamping. I added a sentiment, also from Birthday Bash stamp set, and a few iridescent silver stars. The Cotton Candy border was die cut from Frame in Frame 3 Cutting Plate and layered under the image panel.

My second card uses the Leafy Palette Layering Stencil with the coordinating Foil It. I inked the stencil using Dijon, Sweet Potato Pie, Mulled Wine and Cinnamon ink and then foiled it with Champagne Fun Foil. I die cut the panel using the Arched Layer Stacklets and layered with the Petite Scalloped Arched Layer Stacklets using Cinnamon and Mulled Wine cardstock. I added a bit of twine and a foiled sentiment from Together in Type and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
