Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a wonderful day so far! Today is release day at Taylored Expressions and this week we are celebrating Taylor’s birthday with some fun new birthday products and releasing a few previous products from previous Stamp Joys and Combo Club add-ons.
My first card pairs some new products with a couple of previously released goodies. I started by adhering a strip of Pineapple, Blueberry and Granny Smith cardstock to a sticky sheet and stamping the panel with Versamark then heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I trimmed this with A2 Layer Stackets. Next I layered a frame from A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate. I die cut the Birthday Boy die from Pineapple, Blueberry and Granny Smith cardstock and put the colors together on the backer in Sugar Cube (this would be a FANTASTIC card to make multiples of). I added a secondary sentiment from Big Birthday Hugs stamp set. To finish up I added Critter Crew – Turtle and some birthday add-ons from Critter Crew Stamp & Die Combo – Birthday.
My second card features Postmarked – Birthday stencils and Foil-It with the Postmarked Cutting Plate. I foiled the Foil It with TE Fun Foil in Holographic Gold Glitter then stenciled with Bubble Gum, Pineapple, Honeydew Melon, and Tiki Mule. I die cut with the Postmarked Cutting Plate and arranged the stamps and envelopes on a layered square of Pineapple and Bubble gum cardstock cut with Square Stacklets and Petite Scallop Square Stacklets. I stamped the Pineapple layer with the Funfetti 5×7 background stamp with Pineapple ink. To finish up I layered all of this on an A2 piece of Toffee cardstock embossed with the Swiss Dot embossing folder and wrapped a little twine around the layered squares.
