TE Blast From the Past Hop and Flutterby Wednesday!

It’s time for another Flutterby Wednesday and I’ve combined my post with the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop! Our Flutterby Challenge this week is open so all you need to use is a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card. The Taylored Expressions Hop theme is Birthday/Birth Day so either a birthday card or a new baby card! FUN idea!! For my card I made a birthday card using Sweet Occasions stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa on Southworth Linen Coverstock. I colored the image in Copics to match MME Stella and Rose Gertie paper. I combined this with the Pennant Banner die that I cut out three times out of different papers and the cut apart and glued back together in an alternating pattern and then added rhinestones to cover the seams. I used the Medium Scalloped Border die to create the scalloped edges on the top and bottom of the center panel. And lastly I added a bit of twine and used the Butterflies die layered in different papers to create the butterfly embellishment.
