TE | Cute Combos
Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!!! I have been having some substantial blog problems the last few weeks – definitely the downside of hosting your own stuff, you have to fix it yourself! I’m hoping I have things sorted now.
Today Taylored Expressions is releasing a TON of adorable new products in the Cute Combos line and I have 4 projects to share with you. First up is a card using Wee Ones Stamp & Die Comb. I colored up all of the adorable image from this set with Olo markers and added them to a background scene stenciled using the Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips and Set the Scene – Cloud Stencil Strips. The sun was die cut and stamped using Here Comes the Sun.
My second card uses the Cottage Garden Stamp & Die Combo. This was so much fun to put together. I have really been enjoying making backgrounds with solid stamps lately and this was no exception. It’s also really nice to have coordinating dies so you can make stand alone elements that match perfectly!
I started by stamping out the background using all of the elements from the stamp set using Sweet Corn, Raspberry Sorbet, Mulled Wine, Spearmint and Jalapeno ink. I splatter with Oreo Liquid Watercolor and Dr. PH Martin’s Bleed Proof White. I stamped some extras to die cut and then assembled everything with a frame from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 1 and some vellum.
My third card uses Un-Frog-Gettable Stamp & Die Combo and was so fun to make! I used the Set the Scene – Cloud Stencil Strips and Set the Scene – Grass Stencil Strips again but gave them a different look this time. I also used the extras from my card to decorate the inside.
The inside…
My last card of the day uses Under the Sea Stamp & Die Combo. This set is so adorable and I loved getting the opportunity to color this one up. I created a little sand at the bottom with the round Easy Edger die and added some details with Olo markers. I stenciled the background on Confetti Cake cardstock with Confetti Cake ink using the Bubbly Stencil. The seaweed was created using Garden Variety 2 and just cutting the stem portion of the leaves off.
