TE February Sneak Peeks: Let’s Get It Started!!
Hello! It’s time for Taylored Expressions February Sneak Peeks! All of the products shared this week will be available February 7, 2019 at 9 am CST.
Today I have two cards to share with you using a bunch of new products. The first uses a new stamp set called Hip Hop Bunny. This set is hilarious and has two different bunny stamps with a variety of different 90’s rap lyrics and boombox! To start my card I stamped one of the bunnies and the boombox on Sugar Cube cardstock with Oreo ink and colored them with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the matching dies. To create the background I die cut a circle out of copy paper and masked a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock. I then put the Triangle Toss stencil on top and added Cherry Pop Ink with a blending tool. This created a circle of triangles on the Sugar Cube. I visually arranged the bunny and boombox and stamped the music notes in Oreo. I die cut a smaller circle of vellum and stamped the sentiment in Versamark and heat embossed in black. I then attached the stamps to the vellum with foam tape and then added more foam tape to the back of the vellum so the vellum was popped up off the background. To finish I created a Mushroom cardbase and sponged the Brick by Brick stencil on in Mushroom ink and attached the Sugar Cube panel with foam tape.

My second card for today uses an adorable new stamp set called Inky Finger – Easter. This cute stamp set includes different faces and bodies for finger print Spring critters. I kept my card simple to show off the cute bunnies. I started by stamping the grass from the set on Sprinkles cardstock and then die cutting with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. I stamped my thumb and pinky fingers on the cardstock using Sugar Cube ink and heat set the ink. I then stamped the faces/bodies on using Oreo Ink. At the top I stamped the sun and colored lightly with Copics. I matted this with a Pineapple panel cut with Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets. I stamped the sentiment on Sugar Cube with Sprinkles ink and die cut with Stitched Banner Stacklets. I tied a twine bow around the top and mounted the whole thing on a Toffee cardbase.
