Good morning! I hope you had a lovely weekend and your week is off to a great start. Today’s release from Taylored Expressions is all about the craft lover in your life and family. My first card features a some new additions to the TE line up for the needle crafters in your life.
To make this card I started out with a Pink Champagne cardbase and then stamped another Pink Champagne piece of cardstock with the Cross Stitch 6×6 Background Stamp in Pink Champagne and die cut it with the Stitched A2 Layer Stacklets dies. Next I stamped the Seeds & Such Background Stamp on Sugar Cube with Latte ink and die cut it with the Seeds & Such Die. I lined the opening with left over acetate from some stamp packaging and stamped the word Buttons from Seeds & Such – Sew Essentials Clear Stamp set in Versafine Clair and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I added the little 25 cent stamp also from the same set. Under this I created the button card by die cutting each button from Little Bits Buttons twice out of Pink Champagne, Pineapple, Guava, Kiwi, Cake Pop and Gumball. I layered the die cuts together to make the buttons a little taller and adhered them to a piece of Sugar Cube sized to fit and stamped with the divider lines. I added a little pair of scissors from Little Bits – Scissors, a spool of thread from Little Bits – Spool and the thread from Little Bits – Needle & Thread. The sentiments are from Sew Essentials Stamp & Die Combo and Bitty Strips Sew Essentials.

My next card features the new Family Tree Stamp & Stencil Combo along with the Little Bits – Birds & Birdhouses dies.
To start this card I created a Toffee cardbase and roughed it up with a Tim Holtz Distress Tool and then inked the edges with Latte ink. Next I stamped the tree from Family Tree ink Green Tea ink and stenciled the flowers in Pineapple ink. I die cut the birds and birdhouses from Honey, Gumball, Latte, Cherry Pop, Green Tea and Black Licorice cardstock and arranged them around the tree. At the bottom I tied some twine and add the With Symapthy sentiment from the From the Heart Sentiment set and die cut with the coordinating die.
