TE | For You!!

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. Today I have a couple projects to share with you using items from a fun new Taylored Expressions released called Pick Your Pairings. This release is super special because it was created with YOUR feedback. Taylor and team created a bunch of new items to pair with existing products based on ideas and feedback from customers. How cool is that?

My first project uses two products designed to pair with Spring Chickens. The Spring Chicken 6×6 Background replaces the clear stamps that came with the Spring Chickens set allowing you to stamp all of the chicken details at once which is very time saving. The Spring Chickens Cutting Plate allows you to cut out individual chickens as you can see I’ve done here and my favorite part is the new Yard House die doubles as a chicken coop or dog house depending on how you put it together!

Next up is something I’ve been wishing for myself for a while – masking stencils for the amazing Postage Stamp Stacklets AND Mini Slim Postage Stamp Stacklets.

I had a lot of fun putting this one together. I started by using the Mini Slim Postage Stamp Masking Stencil to blend the background using Blue Raspberry, Passion Fruit and Honey ink, then I splattered with rubbing alcohol to create little droplets in the ink. The rest of the card was super simple. I die cut a bunch of Branch Out and Subtle Sprigs from Sugar Cube then arranged them around the center of the postage stamp panel. In the center of this I put the Get Well Soon sentiment from Sentiment Staples. I paired this with a Toffee Mini Slim cardbase that I distressed a bit with scissors, a twine bow and a few black rhinestones.
