TE | Happy Half Sheet
Happy Tuesday! I hope today is starting off well for you! Today is Taylored Expressions Happy Half Sheet Release Day. If you attended Virtual Stamp Joy then you are familiar with what a Happy Half Sheet is. If you’re not Happy Half Sheet is a rif on the idea of One Sheet Wonder where you would take a full 12″x12″ or 8.5″x11″ sheet of patterned paper, cut it up following a map, and use ever single piece of it to make as many cards as possible (usually 10-12). These typically make for nice, mailable, clean and simple cards (which I love!). Taylor’s Happy Half Sheets are maps for a half sheet of 8×5″x11″ cardstock, laminated with measurements to get you started!
With every Make it Merry Bundle purchase, you will receive a free cardstock kit that includes 2 half-sheets of TE Premium Cardstock (one sugar cube and one toffee), and 10 side-fold Sugar Cube Card bases. These items won’t show up in your cart, but it will be included in your package when your bundle is shipped.
For my set of five cards I paired on of the layouts from Happy Half Sheet Volume 1 with the Fresh Foliage Stamp and Die Combo and Mulled Wine, Honey, Avocado, and Peaches & Cream ink and cardstock. I stamped out Fresh Foliage on a 1/2 sheet of Sugar Cube cardstock in a random arrangement then cut the piece according to the directions and assembled. For sentiments I stamped all 5 sentiments from On Occasion for a quick giftable card set!
Sorry – Mulled Wine is a hard color to photograph!!!

I was so happy with how these came out I’ve already made two more sets to fill up my stash of cards at work!
Now you might be thinking Heather Nichols made this one but she didn’t, lol. I used the same color scheme from my Happy Half Sheet set but this time with Toffee and it turned out lovely! This time I stamped all of the pieces in each color and die cut them then arranged them on the background. I stamped the little dots from the set using Toffee ink for a little bit of accent. I added a scalloped border and a heat embossed sentiment and it was done!

My last card for the day uses another one of the gorgeous stamp sets being released today – Bits & Blooms. I was ready for a light and airy card so I lightly ink blended the background with Green Tea and Confetti Cake ink. I then stamped and die cut all of the stamps from this set in Banana Cream Pie, Peaches & Cream and Bubblegum ink. I arranged the flowers and then stamped some of the little dots around the flowers for accent and added a few Tiny Diamonds to the centers for the flowers. The sentiment from the set was stamped on Sugar Cube with Versafine Clair – Nocturne.
