TE - Happy Valentine's - Deconstructing Jen

Happy Tuesday! Today I have a LOT to share with you from the new Taylored Expressions Valentine’s release. But first I need to say – please ignore what I’m sure are going to be a lot of typos. I cut my index finger on my right hand pretty badly changing the blade on my bread lame for sourdough and typing is pretty challenging right now. Thankfully no stitches but it’s going to be bandaged up for awhile.

First up is the Around Town Love Bundle. This set is so cute and comes with everything listed below:

For this card I inked the Around Town Hearts Stencil with Rose Water ink (with an admittedly dirty blender brush) and then inked the Around Town Love stencil with Macaron, Fruit Punch, Confetti Cake and Rose Water. I die cut all the pieces and arranged them around the scene adding a sentiment from Love is in the Air.

This next card might be my favorite of all of them this month. I used the Lava You Lots Die and Stencil Combo for this card. I started by inking a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock with Jelly Donut ink, then stenciling a piece of Lollipop cardstock with Jelly Donut ink. I heat set the Lollipop blended cardstock extra well then stamped the Twinkle Lights 6×6 Background Stamp with Versamark and heat embossed with Jelly Donut Sparkle Embossing Powder. I inked the Lava You Lots stencil with Lollipop, Macaron, and Jelly Donut ink. I cut the base from Silver Foil Cardstock and the hearts from the Dinky Decorations Die Set out of Lollipop. The sentiment is from Mini Strips – Lava You. This was such a fun card to make!

My last card features a new 3D embossing folder, XOXO 3D Embossing Folder. I started by inking a piece of Pink Champagne cardstock with Guava ink. Then I lightly spritzed the back with water and embossed the panel. I used some of my leftover pieces from the Around Town Love Layering Stencil and Love is in the Air sentiments along with a bit of the new Rose Gold Glitter cardstock.
