Happy Tuesday! Today a new FANTASTIC kit is dropping from Taylored Expressions called Hex Effects. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this kit. It’s a fun base for all kinds of cards.
My first card is a quick an easy thank you card that would be very easy to create multiples of. I started by inking the Hexagon Layering Stencil (an add-on to the kit) with Candy Corn, Blueberry, Tropical Punch and Mango ink. Next I die cut a sheet of Mango cardstock with the Hex Effects Cutting Plate die and glued those down over the Mango stenciled spaces for some texture. I trimmed the panel just a bit to create a slimmer profile and layered it on a piece of Tropical Punch cardstock and a Tropical Punch cardbase. I added a sentiment from All Together Stamp – Occassions 2 and a few black rhinestones. Very easy to make multiples of!
My second card uses one of the TE Maps – Hex Effects (though I didn’t follow the color plan) and the Hex Effects die. I die cut the Hex Effects die from Toffee, Sweet Basil, Honeydew Melon, Honey and Pineapple cardstock, arranging them in rows.
