TE | Little Bits

Good morning! I hope your week is off to a good start. Today is the Little Bits, Big Ideas release from Taylored Expressions and oh boy is this an amazing release. Little Bits have been some of my absolute favorite and most used products from Taylored Expressions throughout the years and I’m so happy we have a new round of products joining the line up.

My first card features the Little Bits Shapes Collection. I used Little Bits – Circles in my card shown above. I started by creating a background on Rose Water cardstock. I stamped the Funfetti background stamp tone on tone onto Rose Water, splattered with gold watercolor. Next I die cut Little Bits – Circles from Rose Water, Tiki Mule, Royal Icing and Honeydew Melon cardstock. I cut a frame using Frame in Frame 3 cutting plate and added the Little Bits Circles to the shaker along with some Bits & Pieces Sparkly Dots. For the top of the shaker I added C’Mon It’s Your Birthday in Tiki Mule and Royal Icing.

The balloons are framed by a black rectangle with stitched detailing, set against a white background textured with an embossed repeating text pattern of "IT'S YOUR DAY! WISH BIG HOORAY!". Below the balloons, a small white banner displays the word "HOORAY!" in a playful black font. The card rests on a stack of white envelopes over a light wood surface, flanked by a piece of twine, small clear rhinestones, and light blue scissors on the right.

My second project uses the Little Bits Birthday Collection. I focused on using the Little Bits Balloon & Strings with the Little Bits Party Hat. I cut out a bunch of the balloons out of Sugar Cube cardstock and ink blended them with Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn, Watermelon, Jelly Donut, Wintergreen and Snow Cone ink. I stamped faces on the balloons using the C’Mon Get Happy clear stamp set. The sentiment is from the Birthday Vibes stamp set.

My last card uses the Little Bits Vintage Collection (I LOVE this one!). I used the Little Bits – Instant Camera and the Instant Photo Frames Dies along with a couple of the previous TE free with purchase stamps! In the background I embossed a piece of Sugar Cube with Swiss Dots embossing folder and splattered with gold watercolor. I die cut the Rainbow Bright 3 die from Sugar Cube and ink blended the layers with Raspberry Sorbet, Peaches & Cream, Pineapple, Honeydew Melon, Royal Icing and Plum Tart ink. I used the same colors of cardstock to make the instant camera.
