TE March Sneak Peeks: Home Sweet Home & Matchbox
Hi everyone! Today I have two fun projects to share with you from Taylored Expressions March release – available TOMORROW at 9 am PST!!! My projects today are made using some adorable new dies for making 3-D projects!
First up is quite possibly my favorite new product from this release – the Matchbox die. This adorable box can be cut from an A2 sized cardbase and folds up into this cut little tiny box – perfect for small treats or fun little messages. I made a couple of these to sneak into my kids lunchboxes and they LOVE them!
On the inside of the box you can see I have made a little scene using the adorable Matchy Matchy stamp set and Matchy Backgrounds along with a few Little Bits dies. My daughter and I have both has a lot of fun making little scenes for the insides of these boxes! 🙂
Matchbox Supplies:
My second project uses another adorable new die set from Taylored Expressions – Home Sweet Home and Home Sweet Home Accessories. These dies make it so easy to put together an adorable little house.
To start my house I stamped the Woodgrain Background on Toffee cardstock using Toffee Ink to create a nice little log cabin look and then I die cut the house pieces out of it. I kept a simple color palette for the rest of the house. It was so fun to put together those little window boxes!
The bottom of these houses has been left open so you can added a battery operated tea light to the inside to light up the windows. I can see making a few of these to decorate our mantel for different holidays!
