Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far! Today I have a project to share with you using a fun new product in Taylored Expressions Mini Slim Mega Fun release!
I made a set of 4 cards (one not shown) using the Mini Slim Wavy Stripe Cutting Plate. Technically you could make a set of five but I miss stamped one of the backgrounds and only ended up with 4 – still a good quick set of cards!
To start I stamped the Polka Chic Background Stamp on Plum Punch, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn, Pineapple and Tropical Punch cardstock using tone on tone ink (stamping the same color of ink on the cardstock). After stamping all of these I die cut them all with the Mini Slim Wavy Stripe Cutting Plate. I discarded the borders and kept all of the stripes. I then die cut the cutting plate again 4 times from Sugar Cube cardstock. Keep the waves from this – you could definitely use them for a different project.
I assembled all of the frames and waves in rainbow order and adhered them together with a thin strips of left over cardstock from other projects. These were then adhered to Sugar Cube Mini Slim Top Folding Cardbases with thin foam tape strips.
Next I die cut greenery from Garden Variety 2 out of Cilantro cardstock and a few flowers from Sugar Cube. The sentiments were stamped on Sugar Cube with Versafine Clair – Nocturne ink from Pop Sentiments and die cut. These were attached at the bottom of the cards and Pineapple Enamel Dots were added to the centers of the flowers. Clear Bits & Pieces Drip Drops were added for a finishing touch.
