Morning! Happy Tuesday! Taylored Expressions is releasing a new card making kit today called O’Christmas Tree Cardmaking Kit and it is ADORABLE! This kit will be great to get a head start on making Christmas cards (I know it’s July but you gotta start early!!). The kit details are below:

I made two projects with the kit – one in more traditional colors and one using some fun bright non-traditional colors. This kit is great for making quick varied Christmas cards!
The colors I used on the non-traditional card are Pear, Peapod, Cinnamon, Cookie Monster inks and Pineapple, Lollipop and Cookie Monster Cardstock. I also used Versamark ink through the bauble layer of the stencil so I could emboss the ornaments with TE’s All The Glitters Embossing Powder in Lollipop.

My second card uses the kit again but focuses on a more traditional color scheme and uses one of the kit add-ons, Winter Birds Die Set (SO CUTE!!!). For this one I used my all time favorite holiday combo – deep green, red and silver. The colors I used are Peapod, Cilantro and Cinnamon for the tree and I used Watermelon, Cherry Pop, Candy Corn and Oreo for the cardinals. I heat embossed the background stamp with All That Glitters – Silver embossing powder.
