Today I am using Oh, What a Day! I can’t lie, the minute I saw this set I was in LOVE. It’s so so so cute and I can’t pass up a set that works for so many different occasions. You just can’t have enough of this type of stamp set! So keeping that in mind I made a multi-occasion card set with a pretty clean and simple layout. I’m going to be making another set of these pretty soon as they’ll be perfect to keep on hand at work for all the little things I need to send out cards for. 🙂
To make this set I started with a A2 cardbase made from kraft paper and I rounded the bottom corners. I layered that with a second piece of craft paper, also with the bottom two corners rounded and popped up on foam tape. I layered that with a textured piece of cardstock and a bit of natural burlap twine. The textured cardstock is embossed with different impression plates: Hearts Impression Plate, Houndstooth/Damask Impression Plate, Lots of Dots Impression Plate, Stars Impression Plate. The focal point of each card is stamped on Choice Snow White cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. Each one is die cut using the Label Stacklets 2 dies and popped up on foam tape… Done! They went together so fast! For me coloring always takes awhile and I was done in an hour and a half with all four!
Here’s the back of each card:
For the back of each card I stamped the puppy images from Signature Style in black ink and colored the puppy with a white gel pen. 🙂
Well that’s it for me! I hope you’ll hop around and see what the other Baker’s Dozen girls have in store for you!
