Hi everyone! Today Taylored Expressions has a new ADORABLE card kit that I am SO SO SO excited about. The Pieced Patterns Cardmaking Kit features some fun products to make quilt inspired card. There are dies to help you get the perfect size pieces and equally perfect stamps to make your cardstock look like quilt fabric.
The Pieced Patterns Cardmaking Kit retails for $57, is packaged in a zippered pouch with a custom sticker, and includes:

For both of my project I kept to a more traditional rustic quilt look. I LOVE this look and it was perfect for my mother in laws upcoming birthday because she is an AMAZING seamstress (she made my wedding dress!!) and loves to create quilts. This color palette is my favorite for quilts (we have a rag quilt in our guest bedroom that is very similar) and uses Raspberry Sorbet, Pink Champagne, Dijon, Cinnamon, Peapod, and Buttercream Frosting. The included design sheets in the kit make it SUPER easy to layout your pieces and play with color options before fully adhering your design.
My second card continues the same theme with a slightly altered color palette. I used ALL of the patterned stamps for this one using a different quilt base to get the pattern.
