Celebrating Taylored Expressions 10th Birthday
It’s TE’s 10th Birthday!!! I’m so happy for Taylor and Jon and this incredible journey they have been on to create such a wonderful and caring company. I began designing for Taylored Expressions in November of 2011, back when TE was just three years old, after meeting Taylor at CHA in Chicago. After seeing her amazing products I decided right way I would submit my “resume” and see what happened. I was asked to be a guest designer and then full designer shortly after. Over the years I have really enjoyed all of the wonderful opportunities I’ve had with TE. It’s been an incredible journey to get to 10 years! I’m excited to be celebrating today with all of the other fabulous designers that have helped make TE what it is today! There are over 40 designers participating in our hop today so be sure to head over to Taylor’s blog to see the full list!
All of the new products you will see today are available NOW at the TE Store!
For the hop today I made a fun and easy birthday card using one of my most favorite techniques, ink blending. I started with the Herringbone Stencil and Plum Punch, Blue Raspberry and Lime Zest ink and blended from dark to light from the outside edges in. After sponging the ink onto the Sugar Cube cardstock I used a NUVO Aqua Shimmer pen to add a touch of shimmer to the stenciled areas.
Next I stamped the Wish Big balloon from Celebrate Big onto Sugar Cube with Lime Zest ink and die cut the balloon with the coordinating die from the Celebrate Big Balloon Shaker die. I added a balloon string from Yippee Critters Stamp & Die Combo and a frame from Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate.

At the heart of Taylored Expressions is a mission to share joy through the gift of handmade cards. As part of their 10th birthday TE is continuing that mission with the launch of a special Share Joy campaign focused on providing birthday cards to those in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities across the U.S. To make as deep an impact as possible TE is inviting card makers everywhere to join the campaign. Will you join us? Find out how to participate by viewing their Share Joy page here: https://www.tayloredexpressions.com/share-joy-birthday-2018
