TE Sneak Peeks Day 2:

Celebrate the Season by Jen Shults, handmade card using stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. deconstructingjen.com

Hi! It’s day 2 of Taylored Expressions sneak peeks for October! Today I have two cards to share with you – and a little oops. I accidentally posted one of my cards yesterday so you may have seen it already. OOPS!! 🙂

My first card features Peace, Love & Cocktails. This set is so cute! Danielle’s illustrations are adorable! I colored the images with Copics. **Tip** I googled an image of a wine bottle and wine glass to assist with figuring out how to color these. I do that frequently when I want something to look realistic. A reference image is very helpful!

My first project uses four new TE products – Bubble Greetings – Jolly, Boxed In Christmas, Petite Scallop Oval Stacklets and Cilantro cardstock! I started my card by stamping Bubble Greetings – Jolly on Sugar Cube and coloring it with Copic markers. I then colored the candy cane stripe Boxed In Christmas panel with Copics as well. I die cut Bubble Greetings Jolly with Stitched Oval Stacklets and matted with Petite Scallop Oval Stacklets die cut from Cilantro cardstock. To keep it simple I mounted this on the Boxed In panel with foam tape and attached that to a Cilantro cardbase. To finish up, I added burlap twine bow, and I was done!

Both cards are just adorable. The coloring makes you want to pour yourself a glass of wine. Great job.
