TE Sneak Peeks: Happy Fall!
Hi everyone! It’s day two of Taylored Expressions September birthday celebration and release sneak peeks! Everything we share this week will be available for purchase Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 9 am PST.
My first project today uses the new Thanks Script die. I kept things pretty simple and paired the die up with my favorite color scheme – grey, red and light blue. I used the Earl Grey dot paper from TE’s 6×6 paper pack – Playful Patterns – Haunted in the background.
I die cut two sizes of Bloomin’ Stacklets 2, the larger one from Salt Water Taffy and the smaller one from Sugar Cube. I sponged the smaller one with Cherry Pop ink, gently fading it to the middle. I die cut three Thanks Script cuts from Earl Grey and layered them together to give the die cut some dimension. I layered all of these elements together with foam tape and finished the card off with a Sugar Cube Enamel Shape.

For my second card I used Sitting Pretty – Fall Accessories with a bunch of previously released Sitting Pretty products. I have to laugh because my husband really liked this card then promptly asked why I don’t decorate the house to look like this. LOL!
We have very light colored walls in our house so I decided I wanted to emulate something I might be able to create at home so I went with a Sugar Cube background and began pulling in colors from our living room – brown and light blue then I added fall colors to go with the fall theme.
I added a bit of gold metallic embossing powder to some of the items because I like to decorate here and there with a bit of metallics.
This was such a fun card to put together – I had fun decorating and experimenting with arrangements. Now I just need to have my husband install some shelves like these in our kitchen!
