Hi everyone! Today is day two of Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peeks. All of the goodies we share this week will be available to purchase on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 9 am CST.
My first project today features an add on to the Sarcasti-chick stamp set, Sarcasti-chicklets. I stamped out all the sweet little chicks and colored them with Copic markers. I used Clarity Stencil Brushes to lightly brush the Sprinkles and Lime Zest ink to create the ground and sky. I flicked a little extra ink on with a paint brush and liquid watercolor.
I stamped the sentiment next and then worked to arrange the chicklets around the mama chick. I love her little denim apron and that crazy expression. We have ALL been there!

My second card features a fun new set called the Tassel. This graduation stamp set is so gorgeous and bold. I made this card for my niece, Addie, who will be graduating from high school this year **sniff, sniff**. Addie’s school colors are black and gold so I used Oreo and Pineapple to make this card pop.
To start I sponged Pineapple ink on a Sugar Cube cardbase, fading as I went down. I stamped a few of the stars from The Tassel on the background and embossed in clear embossing powder for a subtle shimmer. I stamped the sentiment on Oreo with Versamark and embossed in white. Under that I added a tiny strip of Playful Patterns – Black and White. The mortar board was stamped on Sugar Cube using Oreo ink and cut with the matching die. To finish I added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in white.
