Happy Tuesday! I have two projects to share with you using some new essential products from Taylored Expressions (and I’m so excited about these). My first project features Label Stacklets 15 – a new oval die set that makes a PERFECT oval cardbase. I made a set of thank you card using these Stacklets as the base.
To make these I die cut the largest Label Stacklet 15 die from a Sugar Cube cardbase overlapping the fold just a tiny bit. I cut a second oval using the second largest Label Stacklets 15 die from Sugar Cube then I die cut Easy Strips 1/4″ from Blue Corn, Blueberry, Cookie Monster, Pear, Dill Pickle and Cilantro. I adhered the strips on a slight angle and then trimmed the edges. I attached this to the cardbase using foam tape. The sentiment is from Oh My Word – Thank You which looks like it has retired from the store. If you have this stamp it’s a GREAT one but could easily be replaced with a number of other large sentiment stamps or dies. To finish the card I added three white Tiny Diamonds. These are SUPER easy to mass produce and would make great gifts or to add to your own stash.
My second set of projects features one of the new background stamps – Polka Chic Background Stamp. I made a set of four cards. I started by stamping Polka Chic on Toffee cardstock with Toffee ink. I then stamped the stamp portion of Woodland Blooms Stamp & Stencil Combo over the Polka Chick background with Cilantro ink. I inked the rest of the stencil with Lime Zest and the flowers with Mango, Sweet Potato Pie, Guava and Cherry Pop (changing for each card). To finish up I tied some twine around the top and added a tiny sentiment from Itty Bitty Sentiments and cut with Itty Bitty Tags 3.
