Today I have a couple of projects to share with you using Taylored Expressions Trendy Tiles Card Making Kit. This kit is so much fun and has endless possibilities for ways to use it.
For my first card I stamped the Trendy Tiles Background stamp on Toffee cardstock using my MISIT with Sugar Cube and Cotton Candy ink, offsetting the stamped image very slightly for a 3-D look. A couple of tips for this technique – stamp the white ink first and lightly heat set it, then stamp the darker ink over the top, cleaning the stamp in between inking so you don’t contaminate your ink pad (like I did). You only need to move your paper a very small amount to get the embossed effect.

My second project uses the background stencil paired with the background stamp. I stamped the background first using Mulled Wine ink and then heat set the ink. After heat setting I used the stencil with Pink Champagne ink (LOVE this combo!). I added one of the sentiments from
