TGF Preview: James
Hey everyone! It’s time for new release previews at The Greeting Farm and today I have a stamp to show you that I just LOVE. I have always been a huge fan of the Creeper line at TGF and I get to share a new one with you today! Meet James…
James will come to you in deeply etched red rubber premounted on cling backing ready to trim and stamp. He’s super fun to color with all that spikey hair and his fun jacket. He’s very very versatile too! Wouldn’t he make a great James Dean? I wonder if that’s his name sake. 😉 Here he is close up:
Someone put a bug in my ear that he might make a good Edward. (ahem… Jessica) So I had to color him up like that just for fun. 🙂
My layout is based on SSSC170. He’s stamped on watercolor paper, heat embossed with black embossing powder and watercolored with Distress Markers just like the first one. In case you want to try this look I used Rusty Hinge, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo for the hair in that order. His skin is Tattered Rose with a faint wash of Tea Dye and shadowing around the eyes in Dusty Concord. (the photo below doesn’t quite capture the rusty tone of the hair in real life) I used Rusty Hinge for his eye color. Here’s a close up:
Well that’s it for me! Be sure to head over to the Greeting Farm blog to get all the details on James and see what Rachel and Anita have made using him!
