Thank You So Much

Thank you So Much, handmade card by Jen Shults

With more time at home comes a bit more time to play around with my card making supplies and create some cards just for fun. I’m still very busy with work (maybe more so than I was actually at work) but with the lack of travel time and the staring at my card making supplies all day I’m finding that I have time to just make things and I’m so thankful for that.

A couple of weeks ago I made this card using some leftovers from another card and some newly stamped elements. I started with the background which is the Shiplap Background from Taylored Expressions stamped on Sugar Cube with Avocado ink. I stamped a bunch of flowers from Fresh Picked Floral in a variety of pinks, purples and yellows. I stamped some of the greenery in Avocado and Sweet Basil. I arranged these and then used a piece of Press N Seal wrap to remove them so I could stamp the sentiment.

I learned the Press N Seal technique from my friend Laurie and Jennifer McGuire did a post about it here if you want to know more – it’s a lifesaver when making cards with lots of die cuts.

This was a really quick card to put together and I ended up with quite a few leftover flowers I can use on another card!
