The Deconstructed Sketch No. 4

Hey everyone! It’s Thursday so that means it’s time for a new addition of The Deconstructed Sketch AND as it’s the first Thursday of the month we are sponsored this week and boy to we have an AMAZING prize for you this week! But first I’d like to say a huge thank you to those of you who have been participating each week, whether it’s every week or just once in a while, it is such a an honor to see your work and amazing creativity with the sketches. You all just amaze me!

This Week’s Sponsor

Our sponsor this week is The Greeting Farm! I’ve been a huge fan of The Greeting Farm way back to my very first days of card making. As a matter of fact Wild Sprout Edward was the very first card making stamp I purchased two years ago when I started making cards. I’m so honored to have The Greeting Farm sponsoring us this week. Here’s a bit of information about TGF:

“The Greeting Farm” first sprouted into the stamping world in 2008 as a small dream and has cultivated into something wonderful because of our wonderful customers like you!  With two plus years of fun-loving, animated characters, including our best-selling “Anya” icon, The Greeting Farm brings you cute, charismatic images that are LOADS of fun to COLOR!  Shortly after the popularity of Anya and her sidekick Ian arose, our Wild Sprout line was added, including the Cheeky Cherry collection featuring an almost vintage/pinup feel that has been widely popular after our first CHA trade show in winter of 2010!  Also added to to our line last year was the adorable Oliver and Amelia collection, and brand new this year, our “Creepers”-an edgier, more artistic line of stamps.  There is truly something for EVERYONE on the Farm and we are so glad to be sponsoring The Deconstructed Sketch!  Please visit us at www.thegreetingfarm.com to view our brand new JUNE release!”

The Sketch

Now let’s get to that sketch shall we?

The Deconstructed Sketch No. 4

My Sample:

For my card I used Wild Sprout Dressy Joyce. She’s one of my favorite Sprouts! I colored her using Warm Grey Copic Markers and layered her on top of Crate Paper’s Portrait Collection 6×6 paper. I adore this paper pad. The colors are lovely and vintage and beautiful. I combined that with PTI kraft cardstock. The flower is made using Tim Holtz Alterations flower die and a bit of packaging twine and Martha Stewart’s Frond punch. The rhinestones are from K & Co.
