Thinking of You

I’m back to share a card I made this week for my mom to give to a friend of hers that fell this last week and broke her hip. It’s a bit of scary story but I’m really happy to say that I think her friend is going to be just fine. She’s already up and walking around after just having surgery Sunday.

For the card I used Love Grows Here from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black onto Snow White Choice cardstock and colored the image with Copics. I then cut it out with the Take Note 3 die and sponged the edges with brown ink. All of the patterned paper I used is from the MME Lost and Found Rosy 6×6 pad and is layered with kraft and Pine Cone cardstock. To finish the card I added a bit of twine, two butterflies using Taylor’s Butterflies Die set and a bit of embossing from the Lots of Dots impression plate.
