Thinking of You

Thinking of You by Jen Shults

Hi! I hope you are having a good week so far! I wanted to jump in today and share a fairly quick Thinking of You card I made a couple of weeks ago. This card started with stamping the cluster of flowers – I used Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn and Pumpkin TE Ink for the orange flower, Potato Chip, Lemon Meringue and Dijon for the yellow flower and Cupcake, Strawberry Milkshake and Lollipop for the pink flower, and Granny Smith and Peapod for the stems. I used a MISTI fit with a plastic sheet to stamp and align all of the layers. Lydia has a great video here that shows how to fit your MISTI with a plastic sheet and how to use it!

To create the background I started by lightly sponging Salt Water Taffy Ink on a piece of Sugar Cube cardstock starting in the lower left corner and fading it up across the cardstock. Next I die cut the Leafy Vine Cutting Plate and used it as a mask to sponge on another layer of Salt Water Taffy Ink using a bit more of a daubing method instead of swirling to keep the stencil/mask from moving. I die cut the sheet with Stitched Rectangle Stacklets to clean up the edges.

To finish up I stamped the sentiment on Earl Grey and heat embossed in white (I know you are shocked because I NEVER do that, LOL!!) and then die cut with the Stitched Banner Stacklets. I head to double cut this to extend the length of the die for the sentiment. I ended with a few Nuvo Jewel Drops in Clear and a twine bow on the flowers.

Here are the supplies I used:
