Ticketed Sketchery

Happy Saturday everyone! There is lots happening today. 😀 Today it’s time for another Saturday Sketch and today is my last Chapter at Oh, Alice. 🙁 It’s been a WONDERFULLY adventurous 37 challenges and I’m so sad to be leaving. I’ve really had a lot of fun and everyone there is a great source of inspiration and I’ll definitely be popping in every once in a while with a challenge. 😀

The two challenges for today include a sketch and to use a TICKET on a card. 😀 Well those two ideas went together pretty darn well, I’d have to say.

Here is the Saturday Sketch:

I’ve been waiting to use this sketch, lol. It’s one I’ve been dying to try out. For my card I used Cafe Ian from The Greeting Farm and I colored him with Prismacolor Pencils and odorless mineral spirits to match this gorgeous Holly Jolly paper from My Mind’s Eye.

Our challenge at Oh, Alice this week is to use a TICKET on our cards and I used this “Bliss” ticket from Tim Holts Alterations tickets. I LOVE them!

I gave the whole thing a vintage sponging with Distress Ink in Brushed Corduroy. I added a little bit of subtle sparkle with Frosted Lace Stickles and finished it up with a bit of twine, a snowflake and snowflake brad.
